East & West Express is hiring a Customs Clearance Supervisor Assistant to support import operations and customs processing for air, sea, and land shipments. The role requires strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipment documentation, and coordination with clients and brokers to ensure smooth clearance and delivery.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably general cargo.
Familiarity with customs regulations, shipping procedures, and HS codes.
Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
Job Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end import operations for air and sea shipments.
Prepare and submit accurate quotations for sea and land shipments.
Follow up with clients to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Monitor shipments through final customs release.
Calculate applicable customs duties, taxes, and charges.
Translate shipment inventory and related documents from English to Arabic when needed.
Prepare invoices and share them with clients.
