Major Construction Milestones Reached at New Waste Management Facility

Ramky Al Turki Environmental Company Limited — the joint venture between A. A. Turki Group (ATCO), Zamil Group, and Re Sustainability (formerly Ramky Enviro Engineers) — is pleased to share that construction of the new state-of-the-art waste management facility in the Kingdom continues to progress steadily, with multiple engineering, fabrication, and on-site installation activities advancing to plan.

Design engineering for the facility has been completed, and major treatment systems — including the incineration and stabilization plants, as well as the engineered Class-I landfill — are now in advanced stages of readiness. Structural works, including pipe racks, platforms, staircases, and other steel components, are also progressing, along with ongoing equipment installation across key processing areas.

This facility represents a significant step forward for sustainable and modern waste management in alignment with national environmental and circular-economy objectives. We look forward to sharing future progress updates as the project continues to move toward implementation and operation.
